They were inspired to get educated with an initial mode of teaching.
In 1991 students were taught under the cool shade of trees, without books, or copies and not having appropriate school uniforms. At that time, only two teachers were used to teaching. Education was given irrespective of their age just to create interest & faith among the villagers.
At present, the story has been changed from cool shade of trees class to a big lavish building where it has all classrooms with an amazed facility to the students.

In 1991, we are following the Ideology of Ravindranath Tagore’s “Shantiniketan” and received inspiration from their side. We are far from the city, straight and into the heart of beloved nature. Students were taught under the cool shade of trees, without books, copies and uniforms, with only 2 teachers. Education was given irrespective of their age just to create interest & faith among the villagers.
In 1992 the school obtained mandatory affiliation where nearly 140 rural students from 4 villages were admitted with free lunch and transport facility, they were accommodated in only 2 classrooms because that was the maximum accommodation we had at that time now having more than 2000 students. Three storied building has been established.
In the earliest days, as the motive was to impart knowledge to the students below the poverty level, no fees were charged to our students. Even today, very nominal fees are being charged. Gradually to a view to teaching discipline. We are getting closer day by day to our main motto, “Rural Roots, Global Vision”

Choithram Fountain School‘s main motto is “Rural Roots and Global Vision”.
To educate maximum students of rural areas who are deprived due to lack of money.
CFT started by teaching some village children, but today more than 40 villages have been adopted by the trust, where their children are studying in school from generation to generation. Girls are not allowed to go outside for getting an education, so we counsel the villagers to educate them. Keeping in their mind that educating a girl makes the whole family educated. We are trying to educate the skills to girls, by teaching them stitching, knitting, macramé art, paintings, embroidery, pottery work, so their skills can be transformed into employment. These skills are chosen by the student as per their hobbies or choices. Student’s hobby shaped in a way, so they may easily get work and jobs as well after the completion of school.
Choithram fountain school is mainly focused on the skills and making girls must be independent and well-educated. So they can bring change in the perception of society and their family too. At present, the girls are on top in every field, so we won’t let them down. We want to raise them on a high scale, so they can teach the values of education to their upcoming generation.

Exam Department
We have completely managed the exam department for the internal exam, question papers are typed and photocopied in the school typist and photocopy machines save the time for the teachers. To evaluate the knowledge of our students, regular exams are conducted – followed by parents and
teachers meet after every exam, where the villagers suggest improvements.
